In order to fix this problem, please
do the following:
- Click on the "Start" Button
- Click your Right-Mouse button over the "My Computer" icon
- Select "Properties"
- Click on the "Hardware" tab
- Click on the "Device Manager" button
- Click the plus (+) sign next to "IDE/Atapi Controllers"
- Double-Click on "PCMCIA IDE/Atapi Controller"
- Select the "Resources" Tab
- Uncheck "Use Automatic Settings"
- Under "Resource Setting" select "I/O Range"
- Click on "Change Setting"
- Change "Value" to FFE0-FFEF
- Click "OK"
- Click "OK"
- Windows will now ask you to verify the changes, click "OK"
- Close of the Device Manger
- Restart the Computer
The Adapter card should work fine.
