OVERVIEW
CompactFlash (CF) technology is essentially a PC Card (PCMCIA) adapted to a smaller,
matchbook sized form factor. It is increasingly being used as a storage device in new
smaller digital cameras
and palmtop computers. The Microtech CompactFlash Adapter accepts this CF card in one end
and converts it to a standard Type II PC card at the other end. The adapter is then
inserted into any notebook or reader/writer type II slot with no loss of performance.
