Digital PhotoAlbum is a PC Card (PCMCIA) reader/writer designed to support
PC Cards from all leading digital cameras, and any Wintel system which supports PC Card
standards. Using Microtech's optional Type II adapter, the Digital PhotoAlbum also
accomodates CompactFlash and SSFDC media. Digital PhotoAlbum has two slots
and operates as a standard SCSI device with two consecutive addresses. Microtech includes
all necessary cabling for hassle-free connection to Macintosh or PC systems.
Digital Photographers use the Digital PhotoAlbum to import images on PC
Card media from digital camera systems directly onto any Macintosh or PC desktop. This
eliminates the step of tethering the camera to a work station which dramatically slows
system performance and file transfer rates. Internal versions of the Digital PhotoAlbum
are also available for most Macintosh and PC computers. |

Formatter Five
Microtech includes a full working copy of Formatter Five with the Mac OS version of
the Digital PhotoAlbum (PC version does not require). This PC Card formatting utility
mounts PC Cards to the Macintosh. In addition, it facilitates a host of formatting
capabilities, including Mac and DOS partitions, and a full suite of diagnostic utilities. |
